Enjoy Crater Lake. We live in Salem, OR and did our honeymoon at Crater Lake. They have opened the rim drive for the summer and it is worth it if you have the time. I would also hike down the crater to the bottem, but it is a major undertaking to climb out! There are usually Bald Eagles around and we were lucky enough to see parents teaching their young to hunt.
